Who we are
F2 Finance is a leading private real estate lender, built on the foundation of certainty, speed, and integrity. We are a true balance sheet lender, which means that when we commit to funding your loan, the capital is ready and available, and we are making the lending decisions in-house. Unlike many originators in the private lending space who immediately sell loans on to institutions, we fund directly off our own balance sheet.
F2 Finance is part of the Faes & Co group, a financial services platform dedicated to alternative credit and private lending. Our funding comes from the Faes & Co Income Fund, which is backed by major institutional investors who trust our underwriting, portfolio management, and disciplined approach to risk. This institutional support gives our borrowers and brokers confidence that F2 Finance has the strength and stability to deliver—today and in the future.
Leadership
Christian Faes is an entrepreneur and investor with deep experience in both real estate and financial services. Christian previously co-founded LendInvest in the UK, which is now one of the largest non-bank mortgage lenders in the that market, lending over $1.5 billion annually. Christian built that business through to IPO on the London Stock Exchange, and subsequently moved to the US to set up his investment firm, Faes & Co., and F2 Finance.
Christian has been involved in building technology-enabled lending businesses for over 20 years. In addition to LendInvest, Christian is a co-founder of Onate, which is the largest real estate bridging finance lender in Ireland, which is also now actively lending in Spain.
Christian is originally from Australia, where he was a real estate and banking lawyer.
